Thanks to the support of the Caisse Desjardins de la Culture, it is just before the arrival of the month of December that the Foundation announces the opening of its virtual Cultural Boutique, just in time for the holidays.

This fundraiser was made possible thanks to more than 50 generous partners-donors, all of whom are from cultural venues, museums and theaters

of Greater Montreal, Quebec City and surrounding areas.

More than a hundred pairs of tickets for cultural activities put on sale, 100% of the profits to support Quebec artists!

Organized on November 29, 2022 as part of the global giving movement Giving Tuesday, the third edition of the event at the Foundation exceeded the annual goal with over $7,500 in donations raised.

Being present with our senior artists

For over 20 years now, the Artists’ Foundation has been perpetuating its Holiday Tour tradition. December 19th, 2022, marked the return in person of the traditional Artists’ Foundation Holiday Tour. Aimed at breaking isolation and creating warm encounters with our senior artists, the Foundation’s team went to Chez-nous des Artistes, where some twenty senior artists living there gathered to receive gift bags graciously donated by Quebecor, accompanied by a greeting card and a grant from the Foundation.

In addition, through mailed greeting cards, tens of thousands of dollars were distributed to over 150 senior artists of limited financial means, to offer them a little comfort and monetary respite, knowing that the holiday season can be particularly difficult for some.

The Foundation strives to be inclusive and to support those who need it most. The list of recipients is therefore revised each year, and includes artists from the Montreal and Quebec City regions.

Our heartfelt thanks once again to our principal partners of the Holiday Tour 2022, the Chopin-Péladeau Foundation and Québecor Media, for their renewed contribution, which allows us to provide the maximum support to the recipient artists.

For the first time, during the 3rd edition of the Artisti Gala, the Artists’ Foundation joined Artisti to underline and pay tribute to the philanthropic involvement of an Artisti member showing benevolence and dedication to his community.

On this occasion, the artist Webster was awarded a $1,000 grant. Very involved in the community, Webster uses his art to build a more inclusive Quebec and contribute to change society.
