Dear Artists,
We have received an overwhelming number of applications for the Québecor Fund for Emerging Artists, recently launched by the Fondation des artistes—far beyond our expectations. This enthusiastic response clearly shows how much this program meets a real and urgent need within Quebec’s emerging artistic community.
In order to review all the applications received so far with fairness and thoroughness, we must unfortunately temporarily close the submission period for new applications.
We understand that this situation may be disappointing for many of you, and we want to assure you that all applications received to date will be evaluated with the utmost care.
The Québecor Emerging Artists Fund was created to support young artists at a key stage in their careers, and this strong response confirms the importance of its mission.
We are actively working to make the program accessible again as soon as possible and will share updates on the next steps in the coming months.
