An assistance to enhance the well-being of artist.

This program was established with the support of the Azrieli Foundation, in collaboration with the Foundation for Artists.

Program details and terms

This program of support and psychosocial assistance has been designed to offer professional artists in Quebec, whether they work on stage, in television, or in film, a comprehensive and accessible help network. It is specifically aimed at musicians, singers, actors, comedians, dancers, circus artists, magicians, illusionists, poets, and slam artists. Its goal is to help them overcome the psychological and emotional challenges specific to their profession.

The Equilibrium Program offers four areas of support :

  • Short-term psychological support: Confidential sessions with professionals (psychologists, financial planners, dietitians, etc.) provided by the service partner of the Foundation for Artists, TELUS Health . Up to five (5) hours offered.
  • Therapy fee reimbursement: The Foundation for Artists reimburses therapy fees (psychologist, psychotherapist, social worker, or sexologist) up to a maximum of $700 per beneficiary.
  • Personalized coaching: Individual coaching sessions for stress management, tailored to the unique challenges of artistic professions. These sessions are offered in-person or virtually by professional coach Claude Webster and his team. A maximum of three (3) hours offered.
  • Legal assistance: Legal support for legal advice through a service partner. A maximum of three (3) hours offered.

The goal of this program is to provide comprehensive support to artists during challenging periods of their professional journey. Only one type of assistance is granted per beneficiary. Please note that the number of available spots is limited, and applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis, until the funds are exhausted.
