Each selected artist receives $2,250, distributed in three monthly installments of $750, providing temporary stability to create, experiment, and showcase their work in the performing arts and audiovisual fields.

Through this support, the Fund helps prevent artists from abandoning their careers and strengthens the next generation, which is essential to the cultural vitality of Quebec.

Here are the main eligibility criteria

• Be an emerging artist who has been active in the performing arts or audiovisual field over the past two years (excluding projects completed as part of studies) and who is currently facing financial difficulties.
• Hold a postsecondary diploma from a recognized Quebec institution in a performing arts or audiovisual discipline. Certifications or short-term training programs (e.g., INIS, UDA) are not eligible.
• Demonstrate a commitment to dedicating more time to artistic practice.
• Have not received financial support from the Foundation in the past 12 months, except under the Balance Program or the Psychosocial Support Fund.
• Commit to providing a written or video testimonial about the program’s impact on your career (required before the final payment).
• Have a tax residence in Quebec.
• Be between 18 and 34 years old at the time of application.

Only one application per person will be accepted, until funds are exhausted.

Before you begin your application, please have the following information and documents ready:

– A brief description (minimum 150 words) explaining how this financial support could contribute to the development of your career.

– Proof of permanent residence: a photo of your health insurance card or valid driver’s license.

– Your provincial tax assessments for the past two years (including calculation details – page 2).

– An up-to-date, dated curriculum vitae.

– Postsecondary diploma from a recognized Quebec institution in a performing arts or audiovisual discipline.

– If applicable, any relevant supporting documents, such as a doctor’s note for illness or work stoppage, proof of late payments, an estimate of anticipated expenses with the Foundation’s assistance, etc.
